Spark© Summer Program

Students are encouraged to apply to CEI’s short-term summer Spark Program. Participants spend 1–2 weeks in Japan, volunteer as facilitators for negotiation, debate and presentation camps, work with local schools, and gain firsthand experience with Japanese culture. Many past participants later joined the JET Program and worked in Japan.

“Great program, I've been studying Japanese for 1 year with them (2 semesters) and just signed up for the next one. Teachers are very professional. This program is the best in Boston for Japanese language learners.”

What People Are Saying

Christina

“The campus itself is lovely and there is lots of free parking, which is helpful if you are visiting for class, or any of the many festivals the university hosts throughout the year. If you like Japan and Japanese culture, want to learn Japanese, or meet Japanese friends, this is a great place to get involved.”
